Tia Ward

Tia Ward

HR Manager, Whitehall Resource
More Details

Tia has worked within the HR industry for 6 years across a different range of industries including Recruitment, Facilities, Hospitality and Retail. She naturally found herself wanting to join the HR industry because she wanted to be part of the change that puts a focus on supporting the people around her as well as supporting the business.

Tia is now a huge part in creating a culture which enables people to work collaboratively to build a purpose driven and agile organisation centred on Honesty, Integrity, Passion, Respect, Trust, and Excellence. At Whitehall Resources where Tia currently works, they have just this year won ‘The People’s Platform Award’, which shows Whitehall have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their employees which has then set them apart as award-winning leaders in fostering an employee-centric culture.

Since working in HR, Tia has developed an even bigger passion for supporting and encouraging as many people as she can, to talk about their wellbeing. She feels the crucial message of people knowing they are not alone and there is support for everyone is something that each employee should always feel. This made her decision to become a Judge for the Workplace Wellbeing Awards, a very easy yes, as it ties into her passions perfectly.

Tia is currently studying her CIPD level 7 and wants to continue building a workplace culture where everyone feels like they belong, and to continue to truly make a difference to people’s lives, careers, and their overall working experience.
