
Sofie Wheeldon
Sofie has had a number of roles since joining Medway Public Health in 2008. In her current role Sofie has a strategic responsible for responsibility for health intervention programme young people aged 5-19 years. Sofie has a wealth of experience in engaging partners, implementing, and coordinating health projects across a range of settings including primary and secondary schools.
Sofie has a number of volunteer roles which include UKPHR Assessor and Mentor, Youth Justice panel member for KCC, and board trustee for the PSHE Association, supporting national decisions for education and ensuring accountability from the association.
Sofie is passionate about being an advocate for young people and is fully committed to encouraging and supporting young people of all backgrounds, to realise their own value and potential. Through her consultancy service she works closely with young offenders in custody, providing bespoke high-quality Relationships and Sex Education.
